This base is compatible with the BevelTech sharpener and the Apex A-Plus frame. Easily mounting with 2 thumbscrews. Weighing just under 8 pounds.

The weighted base works best on short knives that do not require any movement when sharpening.  In some cases, longer knives that draw hard to the magnets can cause some wobble in the base.  If this happens - remove one of the magnets or both of them to stop the base from wobbling.
