Knife sharpening guide clips for Edge Pro Sharpening Systems are small pieces of plastic that slide over the steel guide plate on the Professional and Apex model. They provide a larger backing than the guide plate and are helpful when learning how to sharpen. Use these small plastic clips to protect a double edged knife from hitting the metal guide plate or remove them when sharpening very small knives.

These are great for controlling any knife that, due to shape, won't easily engage the standard knife guide. This has mostly been addressed by the thickness of the new "slide guide" but once in a while, these are still the right solution.
