Let me start with how good the customer service is between Ben and Cody! They have both gotten back to me super quick and with the most helpful tips and info. They really took their time to write an email that was super helpful and appreciated. The customer service was a huge help in me deciding on going with this sharpener! Now, this sharpener is unbelievable once you get the hang of it this thing is so awesome and very user friendly. My knives, Personal and kitchen are all insanely sharp now. This sharpener is the real deal. My next purchase will be the slide guide and some diamond matrix stones!!!! Thank you for making such an awesome sharpener. It was worth every dollar!!!!

Product seems to be well made. Will require getting used to holding the blade and not using a clamp. Look forward to using it!

Upgrade, from Apex
I purchased this as an upgrade from my Apex model. It is much more stable and I get good results. The two things that are a step back from the Apex are the dimpled surface, which allows water to get under tape and causes it to lift much more quickly, and the travel stops for the slide, which were better on the Apex. I will likely sand down the surface to make it flat, and live with the slide range of motion. Just requires more attention. Sharpening results are near identical to Apex, in my opinion, but I do like the sturdy base and ability to change the blade ramp angle, as improvements from the Apex.

owned edge pro several years ago but got lost , then purchased a wicked edge sharpening kit , saw this on line and decided to try it gets a better edge faster and easier
